Charity Newsletter - Charity Right
In this email newsletter, the target audience was existing donors to Charity Right, many of whom were Muslim men and women. They are very conscientious about donating for Zakat and Sadaqah, an important part of the Islamic faith. The aim was to educate the audience on how Charity Right is helping its beneficiaries as well as improving the relationship with donors.
I focused on the successes made in countries like Malawi and Afghanistan, as well as the continued progress by partnering with Rizq, an app to donate with that supports the Islamic way of life. The more challenging aspect came in the first story when informing donors of the change of direction made by the charity. To make this news easier to convey, I focused primarily on the positives and explained that the likely concern they would have has been premeditated and they don’t need to worry.
